ReplyDeleteYour article says Developed countries are more established and CSR growing rapidly this study examines how country-level, industry-level, and firm-level factors affect the extent of corporate communications about CSR in Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC). In particular, using data from the 105 largest MNCs in BRIC, they investigate CSR motives, processes, and stakeholder issues discussed in corporate communications.
At the country level, based on a newly developed governance environment framework that differentiates between rule-based and relation-based governance, our study reveals that a country’s governance environment is the most important driving force behind CSR communications intensity.

SHRM is relevant not only as one of the actors that demand responsible behavior from organization, but also as a group who can engage and disseminate actions and values aimed at a socially responsible enterprise culture
ReplyDeleteBusiness method encompasses aspects applicable for the success of the company's CSR outcomes as a whole.Strategic CSR involves: (i) the establishment of strategic goals and actions towards sustainability in the long term, (ii) products and processes that comply with international patterns, (iii) the adoption of environmental certifications and commitment to norms and standards that may vary among regions of operation, as well as (iv) the disclosure of sustainability reports.(Rosolen & Ferranty, 2016)
As you explained corporate social responsibility has become emerging trend in business world. It is different and reflects the specificity in context and political backgrounds. This CSR performance can be evaluated in 3 dimensions as environmental, labor and community welfare. The researchers had revealed that MNC mostly focus on environmental issues such as energy, water and waste while local companies drive their CSR towards labor relations.( Muller and Kolk,
ReplyDelete2008)
Nowadays organizations are understood the importance of CSR.CSR shows that a business is more interested in broader social issues than you are affecting your profit margin, thereby attracting customers who share the same values. Therefore, being sustainably active makes good business sense. (Collier,E.2018)
ReplyDeleteThe way a company treats its community says a lot about how a company treats its employees. People that feel respected and supported in their jobs are often more productive and satisfied at work. Giving your employees opportunities to volunteer, especially during working hours, creates a sense of community within your organization, as well as a connection to the surrounding community. Employees will gain motivation and pride in their work through these personal-development opportunities. In today’s digital era, companies that demonstrate corporate social responsibility are gaining exposure and praise for their involvements. Your brand’s reputation can only benefit from good deeds in your community. Think about it: Consumers feel good when they buy products and services from companies that are helping their community.
